Video of Dr Kevin Tolhurst in Warrandyte on 6th August 2009
On 6th August 2009, Dr Kevin Tolhurst appeared at a meeting organised by the Warrandyte Community Association.
With Dr Tolhurst’s permission the event was recorded for the purpose of distributing the information to a wider audience and increasing the awareness of bushfire behaviour, current prediction capabilities and the actions that we should take as individuals and as communities.
The event took place at the Warrandyte Community Church, the largest meeting place in Warrandyte with a typical capacity of around 250-300 people.
On the night, over 400 squeezed into the main hall and more filled an annex watching on a video relay. We believe that over 700 attended and unfortunately many were unable to see Dr Tolhurst.
The recording has been compiled and aproved by Dr Tolhurst for distribution.
