Hi, I’m Mick Havill.
I’ve been a resident of Warrandyte for the last two years and I love the place.
Also, I have made some great friends here. It is a place to be proud of.
Being a long-in-the-tooth tecno-geek, I have set up this site to help spread the word. Well not just the word but any words.
There is already a fantastic community spirit here and through the use of the web we can join people with other like minded people and organisations.
I am also a strong supporter of local business. Having run my own small business, I know it is tough out there and we need all the help we can get! So, please feel free to link your businesses to the site, write blogs on what you are doing to let the community know about you and your products and services.
I’ll be adding my own blogs on a frequent basis. However, a social blog comes alive through a two-way interaction.
So, go ahead vent your spleen, shout from the roof-tops, let it out, have your say, go for it.
If you have questions/comments/criticisms/suggestions… whatever, I would WE would love to hear from you.

Thanks for setting this site up Mick. It was lovely meeting you and Chris at the CFA bbq this afternoon and it was even better to be able to start getting to know the rest of Warrandyte through this forum. Cheers!
Mick,
Congrats on setting up this Blog, “Big Load Of Gossip”.
It took me some time to find where to actually make a comment.
I too have a community blog, you and your fellow bloggers may wish to visit.
Regards
Mario

I drove through Warrandyte today and I noticed there was something on this week end.
What is it exactly?
