Following the observation by the WCA that Warrandyte was not included in the Bushfire Royal Commission Community Consultation list published last week, the Member for Yan Yean, Danielle Green has arranged for a public meeting in Warrandyte next Monday and asked that we publicise the meeting:
Bushfire Royal Commission Community Consultation
When : Monday, August 9, from 6.30 – 8.30 pm
Where : Warrandyte Community Church, 57 Yarra Street, Warrandyte
This is obviously at very short notice but it is important that it is well attended and that Warrandyte views are considered in this process. At this stage it is not clear who is attending on behalf of the Government. However, could you please pass this message on to all your email contacts and ask them to do the same as a matter of urgency.
Note that this is in addition to a further community meeting being held in Yarra Glen at the Memorial Hall this Sunday from 6.30 – 8.30 pm
