WCA AGM. The future of the Warrandyte Community Centre
Dear Warrandyte Resident,
The Warrandyte Community Association AGM will be held on Thursday 22 July at 7.30pm at the Warrandyte Community Centre The brief AGM will be followed by a Public Meetingon the future of the Warrandyte Community Centre and other issues members may wish to raise. The future of the Community Centre has been the subject of much debate over the last few years and recently Manningham City Council has been involved in intense discussions with various interested parties. It has not been possible to consult all the residents who use the WCC and this is the chance for wider debate.
Ms Celia Haddock, Director of Community Services, Manningham City Council will address the meeting to bring us up to date. The WCA was originally formed after concern about the future of the Centre nine years ago. Fortunately, the Centre is not under threat but questions of how best to use the facility for the benefit of residents remain. We welcome Celia and look forward to hearing her views and yours.
